About the LADAP
The Local Aging and Disability Action Plan includes communities throughout the Salinas Valley and North Monterey County and was created to advance health equity and community livability for residents of all ages and abilities. It is a localized response to California’s Master Plan for Aging.

About Alliance on Aging

The Alliance on Aging is the largest nonprofit serving Monterey County’s older adults and individuals with disabilities. For over 50 years, AOA has been a leader in advocacy and services, offering programs such as Medicare counseling, tax preparation assistance, senior peer counseling, and initiatives aimed at fostering age-friendly communities. Annually, the agency serves over 7,000 individuals, helping them live with dignity, independence, and a higher quality of life.
