2017 TRASHION SHOW
2017 TRASHION SHOW (SOUTH COUNTY)
Trash has never looked better! On February 16, designers and models from all parts of South County brought down the house with their mind boggling designs made from recycled and repurposed material. The Orradre building was filled with over 300 guests who marveled at the creativity of their own home grown designers. Creations were made from brown paper bags, hay bale twine, recycled copper, wire, bean sacks, old tshirts, magazine pages, onion bags, juice pouches, trash bags, stationary, coffee sleeves, mosquito screens, old menus, vintage forks, nuts and bolts, license plates, mechanic rags, measuring spoons, toilet paper rolls, sympathy cards, sand bags, plastic bottles, bumper stickers, and old maps just to name a few.
A huge thank you to our generous sponsors and donors who make this event possible. And to all of those who attended and supported the cause. All to benefit the seniors in our community!
If you missed this show, you can look forward to our next Alliance on Aging Trashion Show at Corral de Tierra later this year. Watch for details on our website and the @aoa news.
